  • Hardware question

Hey I was wondering if Osculator would receive midi signal from a hardwired midi controller. Specifically I am looking to control Emulation with a Behringer FCB1010. Thank you

    Hi Jarrell,

You should be able to get MIDI signal from the controller. However, if it uses some custom MIDI protocol, it may be hard to decode. For example the Mackie protocol is not supported.
Now when I look at the FCB1010, I guess that it sends MIDI CC from the footswitches and maybe a pitch bend message for the expression pedals, so with a proper configuration it should not be a problem.

In order to get signal from that device, you will have to use a hardware MIDI interface, and configure it as a MIDI input in the Parameters Window.

    Best Regards,
    Cam
